ROLLING HILLS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Local author Lisa Muchnik read from her book, “Rainbow Panda,” as Rolling Hills students delighted in the experience on Monday morning.

In the book, Little Panda and his friends are doing yoga. However, Little Panda feels sad because he doesn’t have beautiful spots, fancy feathers or bright colors like his friends.

Ultimately, Linda Panda discovers his inner beauty.

The students had a chance to play with scarfs featuring the colors of the rainbow during the assembly.

Muchnik, who lives in Commack and her children attend North Ridge and Burr, also signed copies of the book for students.
