ROLLING HILLS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Rolling Hills second graders received a VIP tour of the Commack Public Library on Friday morning.

The students were greeted at the entrance by librarians, then had the chance to visit different areas of the library — from the children’s room, to the teen room, to the adult and quiet-study areas. They also stopped at the reference and checkout desks and met other library officials, and learned about the library’s winter reading club.

The students completed their visit in the children’s area by working in groups to list names of businesses and shops they passed en route to the library by category.
