ROLLING HILLS PRIMARY SCHOOL

The Dix Hills Fire Department visited Rolling Hills on Friday to share safety tips and to provide an up-close look at a fire truck.

Students learned that their No. 1 responsibility in a fire is to get out of their house, and that they need to practice with their eyes closed because sometimes it may be difficult to see. They also learned to have a meeting place outside of the house with their families and how to stop, drop and roll.
